Board Meeting
February 16, 2009
CALL TO ORDER;
Debra Brousseau called the meeting to order with the
following members present. Carol Breckel,
Fran Lawhead, Ken Kendall, Scott Blevins & Kitty Wagner.
Absent: Kathy Jewell Quigley
APPROVAL OF MINUTES;
Minutes approved as
amended. Changes – City Manager of
Hudson is from Adrian. Date of May 10 was changed to May 18.
5 – YEAR PLAN:
A survey will be sent or handed out to Twp residents to see what they would like to see in the park. The survey will also be on the website. Debra Brousseau read the proposed survey which was approved by the Park Board.
BUDGET;
Total budget for year 2009 is $81,276.00. The Park Board will give the Twp Board an up to date budget for the month of June and August.
ROCKET CLASS & LAUNCH DATES;
The first class for beginners is March 21. Intermediate class will be March 29. Launch date is April 4 with April 5 as a rain date. Registration fee is $10.00.
DAY IN THE PARK FESTIVAL;
To be held at Mitchell Park on September 5 – 2009 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Park Board will keep as many, as possible, of the activities – free. A sign up sheet was handed out for anyone wishing to help, could do so. Up coming meeting dates are as follows. March 23, April 6 and May 18
