January 19, 2009
CALL TO ORDER; By chairperson Kathy-Jewell Quigley with seven members present. Carol Breckel, Scott Blevins, Fran Lawhead, Ken Kendall, Debra Brousseau, Kitty Wagner.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES; Minutes approved
OLD BUSINESS: With the assistance of Scott Mitchner the park committee will piggy back with the Fire Department.
This will be for 501-c3
Debra Brousseau attended a conference regarding park structuring
The committee will start working on the 5-year plan for the park. A sub-committee consisting of Debra Brousseau, Scott Blevins & Kitty Wagner will have it’s first meeting On January 21, 2009. Any and all of these meetings will then be presented to the entire committee. Scott Mitchner from Hudson has offered to assist in this matter.
NEW BUSINESS: It has been decided to present a financial report in June and August to the Twp. Board.
“Dog Day” project was discussed as a future addition to activities for Day In The Park. More information needed.
Quarterly Park meetings will be April 6, June 1, August 3, & October 5, at the RCC.
Music In The Park will be held as follows. June 14, July 12, & August 9.
Day In The Park will be held on September 5, 2009. The committee will begin having meetings February 16. Following meetings will be as follows. March 23, April 6, and May 10.
Next Parks meeting will be February 16 – at 6:30 p.m. at the RCC
