6:30 P.M.

Meeting called to order at 6:30 P.M. by supervisor Carl Wagner.

Members present: Debra Brousseau, Dale Mitchell, Lee Mohr, Delight Sieler, Betty Holdridge, and Carl Wagner.

Members absent: Steven Mc Gee

Kara Harris and Brian Nofzinger were present from the firm of Gross, Puckey, Gruel and Roof to explain the financial statement for the township for the 2007 year.

If the General Fund needs to transfer more money than budgeted in a given year for the Fire Department and/or Police Department this money needs to be done by motion.

In the beginning of the year all monies budgeted for Police Department and Fire Department for a given year should be transferred then, not as needed.

Clerk will call BS & A or the auditors so accounts payables can be done properly.

Treasurer will give the clerk the amount of money due the Township from taxes collected in the month of December so they can be properly entered as deferred revenues. This will need to be done as close to year end as possible.

Need to check to see if it is possible for Fire Department and Police Department can be under the General Budget if they have a small tax amount for equipment purchase and if they have minor income on their own. This would eliminate some of the transfers of monies. The General Fund supports both of these departments.
