Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by supervisor Carl Wagner.

Members present: Dale Mitchell, Lee Mohr, Steve Mc Gee, Debra Brousseau, Delight Sieler, Betty Holdridge and Carl Wagner.

Motion Sieler, second Brousseau to approve agenda with the addition of item # 3 Township Vehicles to agenda. M/C

Motion Holdridge, second Sieler to approve two sets of minutes from July 14, 2008 and July 21, 2008 meetings with the addition of the date on July 14, 2008. M/C

Written reports by: Inspectors, Fire Department, Police Department, Park Commission, Assessing, and Cemetery.

Minutes from Planning Commission.

Motion Sieler, second Brousseau to accept Holly Stevens, James Torres, and Scott Marriott to the paid on call status with the fire department pending approval of these individuals at the officer’s meeting. M/C

Motion Sieler, second Holdridge to appoint Mary Tomko to the Parks Committee on a temporary basis until December. M/C

Motion Mc Gee, second Sieler to amend the 2007 budget for the Police Department in the amount of $15, 036.00 to satisfy the State of Michigan, Department of Treasury. The money to be transferred from the general fund. M/C

Motion Mc Gee, second Sieler to amend the 2007 budget for the Building Department Budget in the amount of $36,933.00 to satisfy the State of Michigan Department of Treasury. The money to be transferred from the General Fund. M/C

Motion Sieler, second Brousseau to pay bills from July 15 thru August 11, 2008 in the amount of $120,038.23, which includes two payrolls. M/C

Motion Brousseau, second Holdridge to accept treasurer’s report as presented. M/C

Motion Mohr, second Sieler to allow Rocket launch at Mitchell Park on September 20, 2008. Also on rain date of September 21, 2008, if needed. M/C

Motion Sieler, second Brousseau to adjourn meeting at 8:45 P.M. M/C
