Meeting called to order at 7:30 P.M. by supervisor Carl Wagner.
Members present: Debra Brousseau, Delight Sieler, Steven Mc Gee, Lee Mohr, Dale Mitchell, Betty Holdridge, and Carl Wagner.
Motion Sieler, second Brousseau to approve agenda as presented. M/C
Motion Mitchell, second Sieler to approve minutes of regular meeting of June 9, 2008 and Special Meeting of June 23, 2008. M/C
Communications:
Letter complementing Park Administrator and Park Employees on the very good condition of the park for their annual family reunion.
Written reports presented by Building Inspector, Enforcement Report, Road Reclassification Update, Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Reports, Fire Department, Law Enforcement, Park Committee, Assessing Department, Cemetery Report, and Web Site Report. Minutes included from Planning Commission (2 meetings) and Board of Appeals
Motion Sieler, second McGee to approve Adam Keller and John Nelson to paid on call status with the Fire Department. M/S
Motion Mc Gee, second Sieler to approve the Treasurer’s report as presented. M/C
Motion Sieler, second Brousseau to approve payment of bills in the amount of $111,443.97 from June 10, 2008 thru July 14, 2008. M/C
Motion Mc Gee, second Sieler to approve the land division for RA0-103-2050-00; address 6767 Mill Hwy, Tecumseh MI.
Parcel A will be 2 acres with two duplexes on property.
Parcel B will be 6.3 acres vacant property
Parcel C will be 1.773 acres with house on property.
Additional video cameras for park were tabled until further meeting so we can gather more information on the cameras.
Motion Sieler, second Mc Gee to approve preliminary plans for High Country Estates. M/C
Brousseau was contacted by people wanting to do a children’s Pow Wow in October of 2009. This would be the first one held in our general area. Township will reserve the RCC building for this event.
Motion Mohr, second Sieler to approve a refund of $40.00 to Vic Worker for hall rental. They had some problems with the hall on the day of their rental. M/C
Emma Jenkins, who is running for State Representative in the 57th House District was present to introduce herself to the Township Board.
Motion Mohr, second Sieler to adjourn meeting at 8:40 P.M. M/C
